Reference number: 20013531 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2024-08-28 The Municipality of the Village of Senneville is requesting public tenders for the restoration of the shoreline and development of the Remembrance Park located on the shore of Lake of Two Mountains between 50 and 64 chemin de Senneville. Lot 1 972 002. Brief description of work These specifications apply to the supply of materials, labour and equipment required to carry out shoreline restoration work, which includes the installation of two low walls of large natural stone blocks approximately 1.2 m high and 16 m long, as well as the revegetation of the shoreline strip. The shoreline embankment facing the lake consists of a low concrete wall to be retained. These specifications also apply to landscaping work for Remembrance Park. The work involved in lot 1 is common to both the restoration of the riverbank and the landscaping of the Parc du Souvenir. They include, but are not limited to: - organization and management of the worksite; - implementation of environmental protection measures; - safety signage for the works on the adjacent street and in the park; - clean-up and restoration of the site. The work under lot 2 is specific to the restoration of the riverbank and is related to the present specifications: - excavation and profiling of the bases of two lateral shoreline walls; - removal of excavated material and off-site disposal of debris; - erection of two lateral walls of large limestone blocks (length +-9.5 m and +-6.5 m); - placement of gravelly topsoil; - installation of a BioD-Mat erosion control mat; - planting, seeding and sodding; - plant maintenance during the warranty period. The work for Lot 3 is specific to the landscaping of Remembrance Park and related to the present specifications are, but not limited to, the following: - excavation and profiling of the footpath base, natural stone surfaces, concrete slabs for benches, planting beds, tree planting pits, seeding and sodding areas; - removal of excavated material and off-site disposal; - installation of the granular foundation and finishing of the footpath; - construction of natural stone surfaces, including granular foundation; - construction of two concrete slabs, including granular foundation; - assembly and anchoring of benches; - placement of topsoil and planting mix; - planting, hydroseeding and sodding; - maintenance of plants during warranty period. Phase 1 of the work is scheduled for autumn, followed by phase 2 in spring. From the start of Phase 1 work, a maximum of 5 working days is allowed for shoreline restoration work, which excludes the planting of shrubs and herbaceous plants. Landscaping work will take a maximum of 4 weeks to complete the hard surfaces (concrete, natural stone, footpaths) and the planting beds (excavation and soil supply). From the start of phase 2 work, a maximum of 5 working days will be allowed for shoreline restoration work, including planting, seeding and sodding. Landscaping work will take a maximum of 3 weeks to complete finishing earthworks, spreading and levelling topsoil, planting trees, shrubs and perennials, installing street furniture, hydroseeding and sodding.
