The work of this contract includes removal of existing features within the easement area. Construction of approximately 131 linear feet of new 18-inch HPPP storm sewer, concrete flared end section, storm water diffuser pad, and Nyloplast junction box. Project includes grading, concrete slope anchors, rip-rap, and site restoration. Work shall include any other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. 1. Mobilization/Demobilization/Start-Up/Permits/Bonds 2 Removal of Existing Improvements 3 18-inch HPPP Storm Sewer Pipe 4 18-inch Diameter Nyloplast Storm Sewer Junction Box w/ Grated Inlet Dome 5 Connection to Existing Storm Sewer Box 6 Concrete Flared End Section 7 Concrete Slope Anchor 8 Storm Water Diffuser Pad 9 Water Service Line Adjustment 10 Block Retaining Wall Repair 11 Finish Grading and Seeding 12 Erosion Control 13 Force Account Bids must be submitted on the Bid Forms provided in the bound Bidding Documents Package and be accompanied by the bidders certified check or bid bond in the amount offive percent (5%) of the total bid. A performance bond will be required of the successful bidder. The successful bidder will also be required to obtain a contractors license and submit a certificate of insurance for workers compensation. The training must be completed within sixty (60) days of the date work on the Project commences The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to determine the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, and to award the contract on that basis.
