Site work and renovation of a civil project in Osage Beach, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Specifications: Rockway Triplex Lift Station o Dimensions - 14 feet x 14 feet x 17 feet deep concrete wet well. o (1) 8" and (1) 16" gravity line entering the station o (3) 8" pressure lines leaving the station o Concrete lid with (3) single piece 4' x 6' aluminum vault hatches. We will not be able to remove the lid for this process. Scope: The below is a guideline and all manufacture recommendations should be followed, when applicable. Remove the fillet prior to construction and replace it after the wall liner is completed. o Remove any loose coatings or concrete on the existing structure. o Install a series of mechanical anchors to secure the concrete backer to the original structure, along with a bonding agent on the exposed concrete. o Form and weld a chemically resistant thermoplastic HDPE liner along the entire length of the walls. o The liner should be roughly 14 feet tall when complete, roughly 3 feet from the lid. o Minimal thickness of 3 mm o Welded along all seems. o Integral anchors. o Back pressure resistant. o Turn backs where applicable o Pour a high strength concrete backer between the existing wall and the HDPE liner. Backer should be 6 inches. o Apply a Geokrete, or like alternative, coating for the remaining exposed wall area and the under portion of the lid. o Seal around all intrusions in the wet well. o The floor and fillet do not need to be lined. o Final completed length and width dimensions of the wet well should be roughly 13 feet x 13 feet, unless otherwise specified. o All work must be completed prior to Memorial Day or after Labor Day, at the choice of the contractor. o Bid Alternate #1: Contractor provided bypass pumping for the extent needed to complete the project. The City will be responsible for: Bypassing all incoming sewer during the entire process or for 3 weeks, whichever comes first, unless Bid Alternate #1 is accepted. Disposal site for debris. Remove all the wiring and major piping before construction. The five intrusions will remain as straight run stub outs at a length specified by the contractor Minimum length should be roughly 18" to allow for new piping.
