Reference Number 0000360431 Job Location: City of Hamtramck The 2024 Earmark Water Main Replacement (C) project includes water mains located in the southwest portion of the city. The water main replacements will be on Andrus and Faber Avenue, from Lumpkin Ave to Joseph Campau. Hewitt Ave will be an alternate and may be included in the contract. A new main is currently being installed on Lumpkin Avenue, and the awarded contractor will be expected to connect to the new Gate Valve & Well near Lumpkin Street. The base bid includes 2,899 lineal feet of HDPE water main installation via directional drill and 274 lineal feet of Ductile Iron water main via open cut. A total of (2) 8 Inch gate valve and wells, (2) 8 Inch gate valve and d-box's and (6) fire hydrants will be installed during construction. Approximately 131 lead service lines will be removed and replaced during the water main construction. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 60 days after the date of bid opened. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any information or to reject any and/or all bids.
