Site work and paving for a civil project in Dekalb, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The project will consist of the installation of new Ductile Iron and HDPE water main through trenching and horizontal directional drilling method. Water valves, fire hydrants, and associated appurtenances will also be installed as part of this project. All surfaces impacted including turf, hot-mix asphalt pavement and concrete pavement are to be restored as part of this project. Water main replacements at the following locations: North 1st Street (from Tilton Park Drive to the Northern Public Radio building); the alley west of 333 East Lincoln Highway (from the East Lincoln Highway to the fire hydrant behind the building); the drive lane in front of Walmart (second parking lane from the west entrance extended 300 feet northeast).
