The County is seeking a qualified Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction services to replace the existing outdated main service switchboard at Court Square West, located at 1400 North Uhle Street, Arlington Virginia 22201 (the "Project") and all other work shown, described, and required by the Contract Documents. The project includes the replacement of the existing 1960s free-standing 208/120V switchboard with no main disconnecting means and fused switches with multiple taps. A new 3000A 208/120V, 3-phase, 4-wire switchboard will be designed and installed in the same locations as the existing one. The new switchboard with copper bus, will have a Dominion Energy Virginia approved current transformer (CT) cabinet, a main disconnect circuit breaker, The National Electrical Code (NEC) compliance fire pump tap section, surge protection device, arc-flash reduction switch, digital metering, and fixed feeder circuit breakers for the building loads.
