Description

Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Bismarck, North Dakota. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.

The project will consist of reconstructing Ottawa Street from north of 43rd Avenue to Canada Avenue to an asphalt roadway with curb and gutter. Lighting, storm sewer and pedestrian facilities will be included through much of the project area. An 80 minimum right of way for Ottawa Street exists through the project area. No additional watermains or sanitary sewer mains are anticipated to be constructed, but modifications to existing facilities will be required if impacted by the roadway improvements. As of July 29, 2025, this project is in design. The construction document completion timeline has not been released. A tentative bid schedule for contractors have not been disclosed. Construction is slated to begin Spring of 2026 with completion date of Fall 2026. The firm timelines have not been identified.
