Roofing repairs to the two facility buildings and two small breezeways at the East River Mountain Tunnel of the Bristol District in accordance with the specifications contained herein. The roofs are ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber. The Contractor shall provide equipment with experienced operators, labor, fuel, transportation (mobilization), tools, supplies, supervision, and incidentals as necessary for performing rubber (EPDM) roof liner repair service on four (4) structures at the East River Mountain Tunnel. VDOT reserves the right to perform any type of work within the limits of this operation. The Contractor shall work with VDOT and other Contractors as necessary. o Two (2) structures located at the south end of the East River Mountain Tunnel, South Portal Building. o Two (2) structures located at the north end of the East River Mountain Tunnel, North Portal Building. SCOPE OF WORK: 1. The Contractor shall provide EPDM repairs on two main roofs. The Contractor shall re-flash 11 roof drains, two (2) curbs, and one (1) hatch as necessary to prevent leaking, using the roofing manufacturer's approved details. 2. The Contractor shall provide EPDM repairs on two breezeway roofs. The Contractor shall re-flash roof drains, walls, and perimeter edge as necessary to prevent leaking, using the roofing manufacturer's approved details.
