This Invitation to Tender is an invitation by the Town of Collingwood to prospective bidders to submit bids for the provision of Georgian Meadows Booster Pumping Station Improvements This work includes: Removal of existing Pump 3 (handover to Town) and installation of new Pump 3 (supplied by Town); Removal of existing Pump 1 (handover to Town) and supply and installation of new larger Pump 1; Removal of all butterfly valves and operator handles, and supply and installation of all new butterfly valves and operator handles; Fabrication, supply and installation of lifting beams on chamber ceiling; Fabrication, supply and installation of pump and pipe supports; Removal of existing exposed lifting hooks on chamber floor and resurfacing; Filling of opening in chamber floor; Installation of new disconnect switch to provide station operators with a local means of isolating the pumping station; Refurbishing and upgrading the pump control panel, including new pilot lights, gaskets, panel heater and paint; Replacement of all pump motor starters, associated fusing and power cables inside the interior of the pump control panel, including upgrading one pump to a larger horsepower; Replacement of all power cables from the pump control panel to the pumping chamber; Replacement and relocation of all local motor disconnects within the pumping chamber; (Provisional) - Replacement of service entrance disconnect; (Provisional) - Replacement of underground ducts for pump power cables.
