Interested parties may submit Proposals for an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) or Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) System and Maintenance Program in order to improve the process of collecting monthly water meter data to enhance the level of service offered to customers. Both AMI and AMR will be considered. The AMI or AMR Full-Service Program will be implemented system wide in a short time frame, in order to maximize the benefits of the system. Interested parties are to submit Proposals for a turnkey deployment of approximately 2500 meters, followed by an ongoing maintenance program that includes network, AMI endpoints, and software maintenance as well as full-service data hosting and delivery to the Town. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and waive informalities pursuant to the RFP. Faxed or emailed proposals will NOT be accepted. The Town of Orange Does not discriminate in the solicitation or awarding of contracts on basis of race, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or any other basis prohibited by state or federal law.
