As of August 2025, the owner is in the process of reviewing and grading the RFP's received. The project would not be scheduled to start until late next spring or early summer 2026 with a completion date of the fall of 2027. D/B - Orange County High School CTE Building This project is located at 201 Selma Road, Orange, VA 22960 Project is for the design and construction of an approximate 35,000 +/- square foot CTE Building including but not limited to labs for the following programs: Auto Mechanics, Nursing, Culinary, Cosmetology, MEP, Carpentry, Robotics, Agriculture, and additional classrooms. Construction, labor, and design cost are limited to a budget of $10-$13 million. Understandably, this budget amount may result in the likelihood of some features described in the Scope of Work and Project Summary/Requirements (Section 2.1.1.) not able to be wholly included. The selection of features to be included in the design is dependent upon the discretion of the vendor submitting the proposal but must be the same or similar features as noted in Section 2.1.1. M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process. This shall serve as official notice that Orange County Public Schools is hereby cancelling the RFP for the Orange County High School CTE Building Design Build Project. If/when the project will be re-tendered is undetermined at this time.
