Base 31 Interior Painting St. Charles County Ambulance District is accepting proposals for Base 31 Interior Painting The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. All questions to confirm the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents or requirements are to be submitted in writing to the Facilities Manager at Jfeldmann@sccad.com. The last day for clarification shall be 13:00 on August 30, 2024 SPECIFICATIONS Base 31 Interior Painting 5150 Westwood Drive Saint Charles, MO 63304 Scope: Interior of Base 31 needs an interior painting to refresh the building. The living quarters including the bedrooms, hallways, closets, bathrooms, living room, kitchen, basement stairwell, weight room, ceilings, and garage are to have a new coat of paint installed. Any nicks, scratches, cracks, tape, and dents in the walls will require repairs to be completed prior to painting. Cove base, flooring, doors and door frames are not being replaced and will need to be protected from paint spills or splattering's. Painting - Interior: o Phase 1 - Level 1 o Protect adjacent surfaces not being painted. Cove base and flooring are not being replaced. o Patch and prepare all walls prior to final paint application. Color selection identified by the owner. o Ceilings - all hard ceilings to be painted Bathroom closets - vendor has the option to cut around shelving or remove it. o The owner will be responsible for removing: o Wall\cable outlet covers in the rooms. o Pictures, coat hooks, bulletin boards, PC and equipment. o Moving larger furniture items away from the walls to aid the contractor. o All window treatments. o The owner will remove all window treatments. o All room walls to be included on level 1: Stairwell - Basement through level 1 4 bedrooms Living room, kitchen, two hallways, 3 bathrooms TV brackets will not be removed, Vendor to 'cut' around brackets. o Wooden doors and trim are excluded. o Window trim and casing are excluded. o Kitchen Pantry closets (3) will be excluded. o Kitchen closet will be excluded. o The contractor will supply all paint and supplies for the project. o Apply each coat to uniform appearance in thicknesses specified by manufacturer (2 coats required on this project.) o Interior single man door and frames to be painted with enamel semi-gloss paint internal and external and sides. 15 doors and 13 door frames (vendor to verify counts.) o Garage single man side door both sides to be painted. o Garage interior doors to be painted on both sides. o Front living room door inside surface only. o Back kitchen door inside surface only. o The contractor is responsible for the disposal of all construction debris daily
