2024 Chester Township Liquid Fuels Road Program - Scope of work includes milling and resurfacing of roadways and ADA curb ramps. The project is comprised of an approximate total of the following items of work: A. 4,000 SY of Milling B. 4,000 SY of Superpave Mixture Wearing Course Overlay C. 50 SY of Superpave Mixture Base Repair D. 3 ADA Compliant Curb Ramp Corners - Design Build E. Two (2) Speed Humps F. Required Line Work G. Incidental Work Bidders are required to submit a surety in the form of a bond or equivalent meeting 10% of the overall bid price in compliance with the contract documents. Bid bonds will be returned to the non-awarded bidders upon the execution of the contract. Questions Due Date: Aug 30th 2024, 4:00 PM EDT The successful Bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of receipt of written notice of acceptance of the Bid Bidders are not permitted to contact the Township Engineer or staff directly. The Bidder's attention is called to the fact that this project is subject to PA Prevailing Wage Requirements. The Contract Documents contain all pertinent regulations. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Township.
