Site work and paving for a civil project in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Work consists of construction of beach improvements. This includes demo of the existing beach, revetment construction, beach construction, breakwater construction, concrete pavement, grading, stormwater infrastructure, green infrastructure, and other items as indicated in the project bid documents. Substantial Completion Date: 7/1/25 Project funded by federal. Contractors shall employ a minimum of 50% of the Contract labor force with employees that reside in Milwaukee County. Documentation must be performed by LCPtracker Labor Compliance software, (see Bid Documents for Residency Program Requirements). For Federally Funded Contracts wage rates are established pursuant to Federal Labor Determination and Provisions. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation Goal for This Project is 4% Percent. To Be Considered for This Project All Required Dbe-14 Forms Shall Be Completed and Signed by Prime and Submitted as Indicated in Invitation to Bid. Bidder's attention is called to the "Notice of Requirements for Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity" (Executive Order 11246), contained in the Bid Documents, which set forth, in part, goals and timetables for the employment of women and minorities in the project area. Bidders shall submit a completed contractor qualification statement not less than five(5) calendar days prior to the bid due date. Failure to submit this information with Bid may result in rejection of the Bid as non-responsive. A10 percent bid bond or certified check is required with bid. The low responsive, responsible bidder will be recommended for contract award. Owner reserves right to reject bid, to waive informalities in bid or to accept bid which will be in best interest of Owner. Base Bid shall remain open to acceptance for a period of 60 days after bid due date Question Deadline 09/02/2024 Architect/Engineer shall receive requests for clarification or interpretation of Bidding Documents in writing at least seven days before Bid Due Date time
