Furnish labor, material and services necessary to provide fire extinguisher annual recertifications at all buildings (see attached Fire Extinguisher Inspection List). This service to include, but not limited to: Inspect dry chemical fire extinguishers and refill and service extinguishers, as needed. This contract will be effective October 1, 2024 through September 31, 2025 with the option to extend for an additional four one-year terms upon mutual consent of both parties. The successful contractor must supply Maintenance Operations Department with a schedule of annual preventative maintenance for each location. Any deviation from this schedule must be called in to the Maintenance Operations Manager a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Contractor will be given our current fire extinguisher location list and the contractor will be responsible to revise and update as needed. Contractor to contact Maintenance Operations Manager when fire extinguisher testing/maintenance is scheduled to occur. Call Maintenance Operations Manager a minimum of 72 hours prior to scheduled inspection (business days, not calendar days). Inspection work order is to be completed and signed by manager or his designee at each location. One copy to be left at the location and one copy to be sent to Maintenance Operations Manager.
