The Dod ge City High School addition is to be on the west most end of the current field house, and is approximately 18,110 square feet. The facility structure will be pre-engineered steel frame and the mechanical system will be rooftop units (RTUs). Exterior building materials will be metal panels that match existing and storefront glazing system. Interior spaces will include weight room, storage, restrooms, mechanical/ electrical room, custodial closet, mezzanine and auxiliary court or bowling alley. The CMAR delivery method was selected by USD 443 Dod ge City to achieve the following objectives: a. Integrate the experience and expertise of the CMAR into a project team environment to successfully achieve USD 443 Dod ge City goals and objectives for the Project; b. Utilize the experience and expertise of the CMAR during the pre-construction phase to advise on constructability issues, alternate methods and materials, construction phasing, cost, quality, and schedule; and c. Utilize the experience and expertise of the CMAR during the construction phase for management of all construction activities including, but not limited to, bidding, subcontractor scheduling and coordination, quality, and budget and schedule control.
