City of Forks is requesting bids for the rebuilding of an existing baseball field, the South Field at Tillicum Park, in such a manner so that the infield conforms with the standards of Little Leaguetm Ages 15+ and Ponytm 'Colt League' standards. Work includes excavating of the infield baseline areas and the infielders' playing area; installation of a league compliant clay pitching mound; insulation of Western Washington grown sod for the infield; and installation of Champion Sports Protm pitcher's rubber, bases, and home plate. Compliance with the infield guidelines for both Little Leaguetm and Ponytm is an essential requirement of this project. Project Description: The City will be contracting with the selected contractor to building an existing baseball field, the South Field at Tillicum Park, in such a manner where the infield conforms with the standards of Little League TM Ages 15+ and PonyTM 'Colt League' standards. Work includes excavating of the infield baseline areas and the infielders' playing area; installation of a league compliant clay pitching mound; insulation of Western Washington grown sod for the infield; and installation of Champion Sports Pro TM pitcher's rubber, bases, and home plate. Compliance with the infield guidelines for both Little League TM and PonyTM is an essential requirement of this project. An illustration is attached from one of the mentioned league(s).
