The work to be performed under these specifications and the accompanying drawings comprises the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools and other services and facilities necessary for the complete construction of, but is not necessarily limited to the following a. Furnish material and perform work shown on the Roadway drawings. NORTH NEWTON TOWNSHIP, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA will accept bids for the project described as: Contract No.: 2024-2 Oakville Shoulder Widening Question Deadline 09/24/2024 at 3:00 PM ET Questions through Online Portal The work to be performed shoulder widening, retaining walls, grading modifications, and traffic control. The right is reserved: 1) to reject any or all bids; 2) to re-advertise for new bids; 3) to waive any irregularity, mistake, error or omission in any bid received; 4) to accept the lowest responsible bid deemed to be most favorable to the interest of the Owners. Bids shall be firm and binding for a period of sixty (60) days after the Bid Opening, except as otherwise provided by PA Act No. 1978-317. Bids cannot be modified or withdrawn (except as provided) during that time. The amount of the Performance Bond required by the Contract Documents will be one hundred (100) percent of the cost of the work, according to the awarded Contract price. This Project was financed in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority.
