FY25 Gosnold St. And Ocean St. Improvements The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Labor and Materials Payment Bond and a Performance Bond each in the amount of 100%. 5% Bid Bond required. Liquidated Damages apply. Full compliance with Federal, State and Municipal Wage Laws is required of all work done for the Town of Barnstable. Prevailing Wages required. OSHA certification required. MBE/WBE 10.4% required. Contractor Prequalification by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) in accordance with the Shared Streets and Spaces Program and MGL Ch 90, S34, 720 CMR 5.00 MassDOT prequalification of contractors with class of work as Highway Construction for the project with an estimated value of $3,340,347.65 is required. Only Prequalified or officially waived Contractors may submit bids. Contractors shall be required to comply with all applicable Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30 S.39M, and other applicable Massachusetts General Laws. The Town of Barnstable reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or waive any formalities that appear to be in the best interest of the Town.
