Renovation of a municipal facility in Bowling Green, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 36,242-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility.
2024 Building Project A Bid Security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit, or surety company bond pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised code in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall accompany each bid; or a bid guaranty bond in accordance with Chapter 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 100% of the total bid shall accompany each bid. Successful Bidders shall conform to the Ohio "Schedule of Prevailing Wages". The bidder may access the Ohio Department of Commerce, Wage & Hour Bureau at its website for current edition of wage rates. Each bid must be submitted in duplicate on a blank form furnished by the Architect, in a sealed envelope. Mark plainly on the outside of the envelope, the project you are bidding on. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, irregularities and/or errors in the bids to the extent permitted by law. This includes the right to extend the date and time for receipt of bids, General Construction: Building A - new entry facade. Building B - Building office addition, new entry facade, and interior office renovation. Building B - removal of mansard facade. Modular brick, roll-formed metal panel, aluminum plate wall panel, aluminum storefront entries and aluminum windows, manufactured aluminum canopy, PVC roof membrane with prefinished coping and edge metal. Standing seam metal roof. Hollow metal door frames with wood doors, complete with door hardware. New Metal stud and drywall wall construction. Flooring includes concrete sealing, tile carpeting, ceramic tile and sheet vinyl. New fixed laminate casework with solid surface countertops, painting, solid plastic toilet partitions, custom wall graphics, and signage. Site Work: Site work including but not limited to: site demolition, grading, site utilities as indicated on civil drawings. Asphalt and concrete work, mill and fill, crack fill, seal and re-stripe, fencing, seeding and plantings. Reference drawings and specifications for further information Fire Protection Work: Fire protection work consists of, but not limited to providing a new fire suppression main and a new wet pipe fire protection with associated piping, accessories, and equipment. Plumbing Work: Includes new fixtures and associated piping to serve group restrooms in new addition and indivudal restrooms in renovation area. Demolition of existing sinks in renovation areas. New sink, dishwasher, and ice makers for renovated breakroom tying into existing mains.Work will also include natural gas piping on roof to each new gas fired packaged rooftop units. HVAC Work: Includes new gas fired packaged rooftop units serving offices, conference rooms, and reception spaces for renovation area and addition. Electric unit heater serving vestibules. Exhaust fans for restroom and storage ventilation. Renovation. All controls associated with mechanical equipment. Electrical Work: Building A - Modifications to entry requiring the removal of lights fixtures on columns, removal of receptacles to accomidate. New lights fixtures to light up space, connected to existing circuits, new receptacle connected to existing circuit cooridinated with architectural. Building B - Renovation and addition to building. Main service to remain. Provide a new fusable switch in existing MDP to provide power to new 2 tub panel in addition. Renovation for offices and break room requiring new receptalces utilizing existing circuits in the area. Approximately 6,500 square foot addition of offices and restroom group requiring quadplex and duplex receptacles, GFI protected receptales with breakers or device level protection. Floor boxes with connections to flat panel display. Existing underground pathways will be disturbed by the addition requiring handholes and rerouting of circuits to maintain. New HVAC rooftop equipment and Technology closet to be powered. New site poles and fixtures in renovated parking areas. Details to be found on drawings and in specifications. Technology Work: Renovation and addition to Building B. Installation of new technology rack and reinstalling existing networking equipment. Cabling for offices in the new addition and extending existing paging system. Installation and repurposing several access control systems for exterior and interior doors. Relocation of primary security office.
