The Kansas Department of Transportation is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors to provide janitorial services at the Newton Service Rest Area located at Newton Service Rest Area located approximately 10 miles south of Newton on I-135. Period of Contract: October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2029. Questions/Addenda Questions requesting clarification of the bid event must be submitted in WRITING to the Procurement Officer prior to close of business on Wednesday August 28th, 2024, to the following address: Lee Askew Telephone: 785-296-7170 Facsimile: 785-296-7240 E-Mail Address: lee.askew@ks.gov. Withdrawal of Proposals A proposal may be withdrawn on written request from the bidder to the Procurement Officer at the Office of Procurement and Contracts prior to the closing date. Acceptance or Rejection The Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or part of a proposal; to waive any informalities or technicalities; clarify any ambiguities in proposals; modify any criteria in this RFP; and unless otherwise specified, to accept any item in a proposal.
