Demolition and site work for a residential development in Globe, Arizona. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

Gila County is requesting bids from qualified Contractors for the Campaign Creek Post Fire Project-Demolition of 10 Homes Project consists of a contractor for the Campaign Creek Post-Fire Project-Demolition of 10 Homes. The purpose of this project is to safely and efficiently remove the existing structures and clear the sites. All work shall be done from the street side of the properties. Equipment and debris are not allowed in Campaign Creek. Project Overview: This Scope of Work (SOW) outlines tasks and responsibilities involved in the demolition of up to 10 residential homes and associated outbuildings situated on 12 individual parcels to mitigate flood hazards associated with Campaign Creek. The subject properties have withstood repetitive damage due to flooding. The properties are situated along the southern and northern banks of Campaign Creek and specifically located at the following addresses and coordinates: 1. 488 N. Mesquite Street (one parcel, 33.623516, -111.004861) 2. 504 N. Mesquite Street (one parcel, 33.623749, -111004915) 3. 509 N. Mesquite Street (one parcel, 33.624020, -111.004014) 4. 541 Mesquite Street (one parcel, 33.33.624638, -111.003992) 5. 144 E. Ash Street (one parcel, 33.623844, -111.003775) 6. 164/170 E. Ash Street (one parcel, 33.624088, -111.003491) 7. 174 Ash Street (one parcel, 33.624128, -111003181) 8. 202 E. Ash Street (one parcel, 33.623850, -111.002962) 9. 122 E. Ash Street (one parcel, 33.62378, -111.00407) 10. 216 E. Ash Street (one parcel, 33.62378, -111.000268) The prevailing clock shall be the atomic clock in the reception area of the Copper Building. All bids shall be made on the request for sealed bids forms included in this IFB No. 071924 package and shall include all applicable taxes. Any questions regarding this request for bids shall be submitted in writing and directed to: Betty Hurst, Contracts Administrator, at bhurst@gilacountyaz.gov, 928-402-4355. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid, or to waive any informality in any bid, or to withhold the award if deemed in the best interest of Gila County. All procurement activities conducted by Gila County are in conformance with the rules and regulations of the Gila County Procurement Code. A copy of the code is available for review in the Clerk of the Board's office, Globe, AZ. Project Start Date: Based on Gila County acquisition of properties. Notice to proceed will be provided as homes are available on a property-by-property basis. First demolition should be available in early October of 2024. It is expected that most of the properties will be available by December of 2024. Estimated Completion Date: 60 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. All work will need to be completed by June 1, 2025. Question Deadline 09/10/2024 at 3:00 PM MT. Any questions related to this request for bid must be directed to those whose names appear on the notice. Procurement requires all questions be submitted in writing. Any correspondence related to a request for bids should refer to the appropriate request for bids number, page, and paragraph number. However, the Contractor(s) must not place the request for bid number on the outside of an envelope containing questions since such an envelope may be identified as a sealed bid and may not be opened until after the official request for bid due date and time. Questions received, will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
