Renovation of a mixed-use development in Milan, New Mexico. Working plans call for the renovation of a golf course; and water / sewer project.
As of September 24, 2024, bids received were rejected. Installation of new sewage lift station with an appurtenant valve vault, approximately 300 linear feet of new 4-inch sewer force main, and approximately 60 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer main. The existing 4" sanitary sewer line and 4" sewer force main are to be cut and capped to route wastewater flow to and from the newly constructed lift station. The new lift station shall be equipped with new dual submersible pumps with new controls, piping, check valves, and level controls. The new lift station interior concrete surfaces shall be lined with a corrosion-resistant polyurethane coating. The project also includes electrical components, such as installing new controls and extending a 3-phase power to the new lift station site. The new gravity sewer main will connect to and extend from an existing manhole and feature Two (2) new manholes. Construction will include installing concrete pad covering over the area designated for the new lift station site, as well as approximately 92 linear feet of new perimeter chain link fencing to enclose and secure the new lift station facilities. The new perimeter fence will feature a height of 6-feet and a 10-feet wide double chain link gate for drivable access gate and a 3-feet wide walk gate. Construction will include the decommissioning and abandonment of the existing Golf Course Lift Station vaults, including the existing wet well, dry pump vault, and control panel. The salvageable mechanical equipment featured in the existing lift station vaults shall be removed, recovered, and supplied to the Village, prior to demolishing the underground vaults. Abandoning of existing lift station will consist of removing the top wet well to joint and backfilling with excavated spoils to grade. Existing control panels and equipment are to be removed and disposed of. Construction will include extending potable water facilities to the new lift station site through the installation of a new 1" water service line which will feature a new frost proof hydrant and new water meter to service and measure the sanitary water use at the new lift station facility. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Village of Milan, Golf Course Lift Station Replacement. The Project has an expected duration of 180 days. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
