Site work for a water / sewer project in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sewer Re-lining Project. Est. Completion Date: Nov. 22, 2024. A Bid Bond or Surety 2000 in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each proposal as a guaranty. Description: It is the intent of the City of Manitowoc to have the Contractor furnish and install cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) for the re-lining of the existing sanitary sewers on various streets and easements. The Contractor shall be responsible for the reconnection or reinstatement of the existing active services (laterals) as shown on the plans and/or as directed by the Engineer. The Contractor shall furnish all appurtenances necessary for completing the work included in this Contract. The active laterals shall be reinstated with a robotic or remote radio-controlled cutting machine. This project also includes the rehabilitation of 5 sanitary manholes with a cementitious spray liner or resurfacing of the interior of the manhole. The City of Manitowoc will have the existing televising reports and video of the sanitary sewers that are to be re-lined available for viewing in order to assist the Contractor with bidding the project. Please contact the Engineering Office at (920) 686-6910 to make an appointment for viewing the reports and videos. The television inspection reports for the sewers to be re-lined have been included as part of these Contract Specifications.
