The project scope of work is to reconfigure the existing parking lot in an effort to incorporate more parking for the public use. Additionally, a new parking lot will be constructed on the south entrance of the site to be used strictly by the staff. Access into and out of this parking lot will be monitored and controlled by a new electronically operated sliding fence system. Access into and out of the MOV parking lot at the rear of the building will continued to be controlled by a manually operated swing gate that will be replaced and part of this project as well. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) and Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises (VBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids on this contract and will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration of this award Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond in a sum equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract.
