Site work for a water / sewer project in Alhambra, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project will remove three (3) manholes, construct two (2) new manholes, and replace approximately 292 linear feet of existing sewer main in Almansor Street, from Woodward Avenue to 115 Almansor Street (south of Lindaraxa Park). This project will replace the existing 8-inch Vitrified Clay Pipe (VCP) sewer with 8-inch VCP sewer at a new vertical grade, thereby eliminating existing deficiencies in hydraulic capacity in this reach of sewer and providing adequate capacity for ultimate flows based on the City's Sewer Master Plan. Any contract entered into pursuant to this notice will incorporate the provisions of the State Labor Code. Compliance with the prevailing rates of wages and apprenticeships employment standards established by the State Director of Industrial Relations and the Federal government will be required. The City will deduct five percent (5%) retention from all progress payments. Total construction duration is sixty (60) calendar days.
