The purpose and intent of this Unsealed Invitation for Bids (UIFB) is for the Eastern State Hospital to establish a firm-fixed delivered price long-term requirements contract with an experienced, qualified vendor to provide Refuse/Solid Waste Removal and Disposal for Eastern State Hospital. Unit of measure changed to "12 Each" for requested pickups for all four (4) of the 8 Cubic Yard Containers to accommodate for "monthly" billing vs weekly to simplify billing. Billing per "month" for the 8 Cubic Yard containers which have a regular pickup as described in the line item of each. All Inquiries for Information Should Be in Writing and Directed To: Charles Ward, C.P.M., VCO, Charles.Ward@dbhds.virginia.gov. No Questions from bidders will be received pass August 16th, 2024, 1:00 PM. The initial term of this contract shall be for 3 (three) years from the date of issuance with the option to renew for four (4) successive one-year periods under the terms and conditions of the original contract. Written notice of intention to renew shall be given approximately 90 days before the expiration date of each contract period.
