The Work under this Project generally consists of the restoration of approximately 630 linear feet of stream and open channels and includes the installation of new in-stream, structures, outfall repair, vegetation, and appurtenances to the work off-right of way within certain public easements of the City of Williamsburg. All work shall be completed within 210 days upon receipt of notice to proceed. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5 %) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Performance Bond: 100% Payment Bond: 100% The project was developed under UPC: 117183, State Project Number U000-137-R82, with funding allocations from the VDOT Revenue Sharing program, a state-aid highway program, and DEQ Stormwater Local Assistance Fund (SLAF), a state-aid water quality improvement program. This project will be locally administered by the City of Williamsburg. This project shall be constructed in accordance with: the plans; the Virginia Department of Transportation Road and Bridge Specifications, dated 2020 and the Supplement thereto, dated 2022; and the Virginia Department of Transportation Road and Bridge Standards, dated 2016 with revisions issued online as of the advertisement date for this project; the Virginia Work Area Protection Manual (Revision 2.1), dated November 1, 2020; the 2009 edition of the MUTCD with Revision Numbers 1 and 2 incorporated, dated May 2012; the 2011 Virginia Supplement to the MUTCD with Revision Number 1, dated September 30, 2013; and Supplemental Specifications, Special Provisions and Special Provision Copied Notes in this contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any minor non-substantive errors in the Bid. Award of bid shall occur within 60 days of submission of the bid, unless all bids are rejected.
