Reference Number 0000277007 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/09/06 04:30:00 PM CDT The City of Dauphin requests a proposal for the treatment equipment supply and related support services for the City of Dauphin Wastewater Treatment System Upgrade & Expansion - Supply of Wastewater Treatment Equipment, located in Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada. ii. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the supply of a complete wastewater treatment system capable of meeting the target effluent quality while functioning in conjunction with the upgraded/expanded existing lagoon system for continuous discharge to Vermillion River (receiving stream). Background and technical information of the existing lagoon infrastructure is presented in Appendix A. The overall general construction contract is anticipated to go out to tender in March/April 2025 and be awarded in April/May 2025. The contract referred to in this RFP concerns the supply contract of equipment within this project. Upon the completion of a review of proposals received, it is the intent of the Owner to select the preferred treatment equipment from the successful Equipment Supplier (Supplier) and incorporate it into the overall general contract for the Wastewater System Upgrade/Expansion project. V. Initially, the Owner will authorize the successful Supplier to prepare a detailed set of shop drawings and equipment supply lists for the Engineer to incorporate into the overall design of the Wastewater Treatment System Upgrade/Expansion project. a. Time is of the essence for the delivery of priority shop drawings and equipment for the timely completion of this project. Late deliveries may incur liquidated damages. vi. It is the intent that the Owner will assign the Supply Contract to a Prime Contractor for the project when such Prime Contractor has been selected for this project. The Supplier will be required to execute a Novation Agreement with the Owner's Prime Contractor. The terms of the Supply Contract are set out in these proposal documents. Upon assignment of the Supply Contract, the Supplier will become a subcontractor to the Prime Contractor. A draft Novation Agreement is provided in Section 00 10 02. vii. The Supplier shall provide supervisory personnel to witness, coordinate, and provide all necessary instructions to ensure satisfactory off-loading, storage and installation within the wastewater treatment system. Also included is the programming, testing and commissioning of the Goods supplied. The Prime Contractor will provide all necessary labour and equipment to off-load, position and install the Goods under the supervision of the Supplier.
