Renovation of a fire / police facility in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

Work under this Contract includes furnishing of all supervision, labor, materials, tools, and performing all operations required to construct the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. Work includes but is not limited to removing an inground car lift and installing a new above ground car lift furnished by the County. Contractor to be responsible for all permits requirements. Refer to Article 2.02 of the Special Provisions additional Work details. At the time of Bid and pursuant to the requirements of Section 10-3 of the Code of Miami-Dade County, Florida, and these Solicitation and Contract Documents, the Bidder must hold a valid, current, and active: Certificate of Competency as a General Mechanical Contractor, General Building Contractor, or General Engineer Contractor. Or State of Florida License contractor. Estimated value $16,000 Additional insurance required Yes If yes- minimum coverage :$1,000,000 Bid bond, performance and payment bond : No foe Rfq's less than $10,000, if no LD rate is specified , the county reserves the right to access actual damages in lieu of LDs. Liquidated damages yes $$ per day :$638.00 Work is to be performed at police station 5, vehicle repair facility 7707 SW 117th Ave Miami, FL 33183 All RFI's should be emailed to Frances.Perez@miamidade.gov and Amunoz@miamidade.gov.
