This construction contract shall be completed in accordance with the latest version of the "Uniform Standard Specifications and Details for Public Works Construction" as sponsored and distributed by the Maricopa Associations of Governments (hereinafter referred to as MAG). The MAG is further modified as per the Quad City Standard Details, Town of Prescott Valley Design and Construction Standards and Specifications, Town Code, and these Contract Documents, Specifications, and Special Provisions. These referenced specifications and details are hereby incorporated into this construction contract by this reference. There are four (4) bid packages/projects included in this bid. The base bid package/project is 4th Street Drainage Improvements. There are three (3) alternate bid packages/projects (Magdalena Street North Drainage Improvements, Magdalena Street South Drainage Improvements, and Los Cabos Street Drainage Improvements). Earthwork (Excavation and Fill Construction), Grouted Riprap (18" Blanket Thickness, D50 = 12"), Cut and Remove (Existing Rebar in Concrete Spillway), Sawcut (Concrete Spillway), Hydroseed , Removal & Replacement of Barbed-Wire Fence , Earthwork (Excavation and Fill Construction), Grouted Riprap (21" Blanket Thickness, D50 = 14"), Removal and Replacement of Landscaping and Rock. In general, the work consists of grading and installation of erosion control surface treatments. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond for ten percent of the amount of the bid included in the bid proposal as a guarantee that the contractor will enter into a contract to perform the proposal in accordance with plans and specifications.
