Saving Project...

Site work for a water / sewer project in Weare, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Town of Weare (Town or Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Weare Landfill Cap Repair Bids for the construction of the Project The Weare Landfill Cap Repair project includes removal and stockpiling of capping soils, installation of flat panel pipe, repair of existing cap drainage pipe, re-establishment of stone outlet protection, re-installation of capping soil layers, and vegetation establishment/stabilization. Bidders should be aware that there is a 40-mil HDPE geomembrane liner approximately 24" below the surface of the cap which is not to be damaged. Only low ground pressure equipment will be allowed on the landfill cap. The Issuing Office for Bidding Documents is CMA Engineers of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Bid, Performance, and Payment Bonds will not be required for this project. Construction timing for this project is dependent on receipt of a Type II Permit Modification with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services Waste Management Division. It is the Town's intent to construct this project in 2024 but may need to be delayed until the spring of 2025 if the permit is not received to allow sufficient time for the project to be constructed and cap surface to establish vegetation before winter. Bidders should therefore note that the prices contained in the proposal will be considered valid for a 2025 construction start. The Town of Weare may waive any informalities or minor defects or reject any or all bids if it is in the best interest of the Town to do so based upon qualifications, experience, references, demonstrated ability to perform, cost and other factors deemed by the Town to bear on the successful outcome of the Contract. Failure to submit all information called for and/or submission of an unbalanced bid are sufficient reasons to declare the bid as unresponsive and subject to disqualification.
