Site work and paving for a civil project in W Yarmouth, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; and road / highway.

The work of this contract includes, but is not limited to, furnishing and installing approximately 10,000 linear feet of 8-inch to 24-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and ductile iron (DI) sewer pipe; 3,000 linear feet of 8-inch and 12-inch PVC force main; two submersible pumping stations; including manholes, sewer service connections and appurtenances; approximately 7,000 linear feet of 6-inch to 12-inch Class 52 DI water main; including water service connections, fittings, valves, hydrants, connections to the existing water system, cutting, capping and abandoning existing water mains; earthwork; dewatering and drainage; paving; restoration; and all miscellaneous work and cleanup as specified. The Contract Time shall be 900 Calendar Days commencing twenty days following the Effective Date of the Agreement. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the Bid. The Successful Bidder must furnish a 100 percent Performance Bond and a 100 percent Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goals are applicable to the total dollars paid to the construction contract. The goals for this project are a minimum of 4.20 percent D/MBE participation and 4.50 percent D/WBE participation by certified DBEs.
