The project will consist of supplying: 4,000 tons of Crushed Aggregate for Port Pad Surface Course Materials shall be delivered to City of Nome designated stockpile(s) as directed by the Public Works Director. All work to supply 4,000 tons of Crushed Aggregate for Port Pad Surface Course shall be completed by October 25, 2024. In the event that the work is not completed by the specified completion date, liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 per day shall be assessed for each day the period of performance extends beyond the completion date. Liquidated damages will cease when all requirements of this specification have been met. Questions regarding this solicitation shall be addressed to John Blees, City Engineer, jblees@bristol-companies.com. The contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified Bidder as determined by the City. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive irregularities in the proposals.
