04SEP2024 - Amendment 0001 is issued and posted herein to provide Questions & Answers; to incorporate Attachments 7,8 and a revised Attachment 1 - Schedule of Items (SOI); and, to extend the proposal due date to 5:00 p.m. Central Time on 12 September 2024. Please complete this Revised Schedule of Items (Attachment 1) and submit this version with your quote/proposal. 26AUG2024 - This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation #1284LL24Q0094 for a commercial road brushing services requirement at various locations within the Three Rivers and Cabinet Ranger Districts, Kootenai National Forest, Montana is hereby issued and published in SAM. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) is included in the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation document, starting on Page 15. There are six (6) attachments to this solicitation. The NAICS Code for this is 237310-13 which is for Road Maintenance. Since there is no dropdown in SAM for 237310-13, the NAICS Code of 237310 was chosen. However, this requirement is not a construction project; this is a roadside brushing service requirement. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, and quoters will be required to submit both a Price and a Technical Proposal in response to this solicitation. Pursuant to FAR 13.003(g)(2), procurement procedures in FAR Parts 13 and 15 (Lowest Price Technically Acceptable) will be used to award a firm-fixed-price Purchase Order to the quoter who is responsible pursuant to the Contractor Responsibility requirements set forth in FAR 9.1 and whose proposed price is determined fair and reasonable. There will not be an organized Site Visit scheduled for this procurement. However, you may contact benjamin.thom@usda.gov for questions regarding jobsite location and visitor information.
