SCOPE The scope and purpose of these specifications is to establish certain regulations, general requirements, and particular requirements necessary for the reconstruction activities of single family housing units as required by the Inspections and Permits Department of the City of Port Arthur. Box 1089 Port Arthur, TX 77641 clifton.williams@portarthurtx.gov The minimum square footage area for 2/2 is as follows: Two bedrooms 2 bath - 1280 sq. ft. (ADA) Reconstruction and Site clearance of Four (4) housing units at the following locations 1. 3237 15th Street (ADA) 2/2 2. 3418 15th Street (ADA) 2/2 3. 4011 15th Street (ADA) 2/2 4. 2649 10th Street (ADA) 2/2 Bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the total bid which shall be a Certified Check or Cashiers check payable without recourse to the City of Port Arthur, or a bid bond with corporate surety authorized to conduct business in Texasa performance bond is required. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be furnished on prescribed forms in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price with corporate surety duly authorized to do business in the State of Texas.
