Contractor shall provide services in support of the City of Livermore Decorative Fence Repair and Replacement Program. Services shall include, but are not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, supplies and equipment to perform decorative fence repair and replacement including permitting, demolition, proper removal and disposal of fences and masonry, traffic and pedestrian control, temporary fencing, erosion control, fence construction, fence finishing, coordination with private property owners and other related tasks. Work shall be conducted in accordance with the City's Standard Construction Details and Standard Specifications. Each Bid Proposal must be accompanied by bid security of ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of a cashier's or certified check made payable to City, or a bid bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California on the Bid Bond form included in the Contract Documents. Time for Completion. The planned timeframe for Substantial Completion of construction of the Project is 50 Working Days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Final Completion of the Project is planned to be 20 Working Days after the date of Substantial Completion. The Engineer's estimated construction cost is: $400,000. * City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any non-substantive irregularities.
