Bids received after the announced time and date for submittal, whether by mail or otherwise, will be rejected. The Project is a phased, occupied project consisting of the renovation of the existing school of approximately 93,100 square feet, the demolition of two existing campus buildings, and the construction of a new main entry and infill addition of approximately 25,900 square feet. The renovation of the existing building includes selective demolition, new interior partition construction, new windows, new roofing, accessibility modifications, life safety enhancements, interior finish alterations, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system replacements and building energy management system. Site construction includes the construction of new parking areas including all grading, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, site utilities, driveways, paving and sidewalks, fencing, site lighting, signage and landscaping. A temporary classroom complex will have been completed and occupied prior to the Project beginning. This temporary classroom complex will be used to facilitate the phased renovations of the existing school.
