As of October 2, 2024 this project was awarded to Pitlik & Wick in the amount of 247,107.50 Deerskin River Culvert Replacement on St Louis Rd. Town of Phelps, Vilas County The Town of Phelps is accepting sealed bids for the replacement of Deerskin River culvert located on St Louis Rd 1206.6 feet east of County Highway A. Bids must be valid for 60 days. Project start date May 15, 2025, completion date June 15, 2025. This project will include construction surveying, erosion control, unsuitable excavation, structural excavation, structural backfill, eversion and dewatering including cofferdams, placed riprap, installation of 16'10"x8'3" L 49'6" aluminum box culvert with head and wing walls, seeding, and traffic control. The Town of Phelps reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids on any part(s) thereof, waive any informalities in the bidding process and to accept the bid proposal or portion of a bid proposal deemed most advantageous to the Town.
