Renovation of an educational facility in Horse Cave, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,487-square-foot educational facility.
*As of 09/12/2024, all bids have been rejected. A timeline for rebid has not been established.* The Caverna Independent Schools Board of Education will receive lump sum sealed bids for the furnishing of all materials, tools, equipment, labor and supervision required for the renovation of the existing Home Economics Classroom to a Culinary Kitchen at Caverna High School.The project consists of renovation of the existing Home Ec. classroom into a Culinary Kitchen Space and consists of approx. 2487 SF. The Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, chain link fences and gates, castin-place concrete, miscellaneous carpentry, plastic paneling, joint sealants, gypsum board assemblies, painting, mechanical, plumbing and electrical, and clean-up and removal of construction debris. The detailed language specific to each bid package is located in section 01900 of the project manual. A 5% Bid Security and 100% Performance and Payment Bond are required for this project. The scoring of proposals is subject to reciprocal preference for Kentucky resident bidders and preferences for a Qualified Bidder. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and/or waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejection, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner.
