Three-year contracts for the grounds maintenance work at the Niles History Center (former City Hall) and the Street Department. All bidders are required to sign a certification that they will comply with all Federal and State nondiscrimination laws and regulations. A certified check or bidder's bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount equal to the value of the first year of the contract will be required with each proposal. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities in proposals and to accept the proposal which in the opinion of the City Council is most advantageous to the City. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of receiving bids.
