Site work for a municipal facility in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
Excavate and remove soil from an area approximately 400 feet by 180 feet by 13 feet at the Clarksdale Rubbish Disposal Site. The City will enter into negotiations with the bidder(s) submitting the best bid. The City reserves the right(s) (a) to reject any and all bids submitted, or (b) to cancel in whole or in part, its Request for Bids (c) to require any additional information it may deem appropriate or necessary from any bidder and (d) to waive any and all irregularities in any bids submitted in response to the Request for Bids. The work on this project consists of excavation and disposal of excavated material as shown on the attached drawings. The contractor shall furnish all necessary equipment, labor, and materials necessary to complete the job. The contractor will install a silt fence, as shown on the attached drawing, in accordance with Section 234 ofthe Mississippi Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. There will not be a separate pay item for this work. It shall be absorbed in the excavation and disposal pay item.
