SCOPE OF SERVICE The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (herein after "District", "Owner" and "CFTOD") is a Special Taxing District that serves as a local government entity. The District is responsible for its public infrastructure including, but not limited to roads, bridges, and water control system. As part of maintaining the infrastructure, the District is seeking the assistance of three experienced contractors to perform emergency repair and routine maintenance on District-owned boilers for the central energy plants for a three-year continuing contract term. Typical items of work may include, but are not limited to boiler repairs and maintenance, removal of gas lines, fan removal and repair, fan installation, and boiler motor installation and replacement. In addition, this contract shall serve to provide the District with emergency response for minor repairs. Standard labor shall be between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Afterhours labor shall be between the hours of 5:01 p.m. and 6:59 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday, and including any hours on the weekends. The Contractor shall make available to the Owner a 24-hour "hotline" telephone number for emergencies, 365 days per year, including District recognized holidays. Contractor will be on-site within two-hours of a call for repair. Overtime will be paid of 1.5 times the utilized labor rate. Emergency rate will be billed when Contractor is called back afterhours, with a 2-hr or less mobilization required. Parts and materials shall be billed at cost, plus a reasonable mark-up percentage. Contractor's service vehicle shall contain all parts, equipment, and materials necessary to perform services. Damage attributed to the Contractor shall be repaired immediately at no cost to the District. Contractor will respond and will be on-site no later than 24 hours after a request for service from the District. Failure to adhere to this response time will be cause for contract default. Other Details Up to three contracts will be awarded to the highest scoring contractors based on the evaluations. Special Notices Florida Statute 287.05701- Pursuant to Florida Law, the District may not request documentation of or consider a vendor's social, political, or ideological interests when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor, or give preference to a vendor based on the vendor's social, political, or ideological interests.
