Renovation of a conference / convention center in Mountain Village, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
The Telluride Conference Center and the Town of Mountain Village is seeking proposals from qualified interior designers for the 2024 Telluride Conference Center Interior Design and Installation project. The scope of services and minimum requirements for the above-described project includes the following tasks. At a minimum please provide a cost breakdown for each task described below and three final project price options to reflect an economical, mid-grade, and premium product: o Full replacement of existing carpet. o Painting of walls and stair railings in the mezzanine, lobby, ballroom, FOH bathrooms & three boardrooms including all necessary prep work and priming (if necessary). o Full replacement of automatic blinds in MV West. o Replacement of existing lighting fixtures. o Construction of two marquee displays as described above. o Project administration and oversight. The Telluride Conference Center (TCC) is owned by the Town of Mountain Village (TMV) and was built in 1999. TMV desires to contract with an interior designer to facilitate in the first renovation of the interior spaces since the facility was built. The first phase of this renovation will look to achieve the objectives outlined in this proposal including replacement of carpet, paint, blinds, lighting fixtures, and marquee displays. The project aims to accomplish a full replacement of the following items within the TCC: 1. Carpet: Located in the mezzanine, lobby, ballroom, & three boardrooms (~10,000 sq.ft.) 2. Paint: Walls located in the mezzanine, lobby, ballroom, FOH bathrooms & three boardrooms. Stair railings located in the mezzanine. 3. Automatic Blinds: Located in MV West, designed to cover the 20' windows. 4. Lighting Fixtures: Sconces located in the mezzanine, lobby, FOH bathrooms, three boardrooms & main ballroom. 5. Marquee Displays: Two (2) enclosed marquee displays with lighting to house posters & signage, highlighting upcoming events. One located at the TCC Plaza entrance, and one located at the Mountain Village Blvd entrance. Insurance: The successful contractor will be required to provide a Certificate of Insurance, with coverage up to $1 million and Town of Mountain Village named as additional insured, and/or other proof of insurance representing coverage. RFP Cancellation: Town of Mountain Village reserves the right to cancel this RFP at any time, without penalty. Incurring Costs: Town of Mountain Village is not liable for any cost incurred prior to issuance of a legally executed contract and/or a purchase order.
