The transformer yard foundation expansion . SCOPE OF WORK A. The Site location 76 North Power Plant Loop, Richland, WA 99354, a nuclear power generating facility. The Work shall be performed inside the Protected Area. C. Energy Northwest's' 500kV Motor Operated Disconnect (MOD) failed in Refuel Outage 26 and was replaced by seismic drops (jumpers). Not having the MOD to create an airgap does not align with existing agreements between Columbia and Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) and does not meet the BPA Accident Prevention Manual (APM) criteria. D. A new 500kV MOD is required to be installed during Refuel Outage 27 to meet the agreements and BPA APM criteria. To support the installation of the new MOD and not extend Refuel Outage 27, the excavation, and foundations for the three MODs needs to occur prior to Refuel Outage 27. E. Contractor shall provide all the required equipment and tooling necessary to complete the Work. Work includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Excavate the three locations. 2. Form and pour the foundation for three 500kV MODs. 3. Install the anchors to support the connection of the three MODs. 4. Excavation for the installation of conduit runs to supply power and control wiring to the MODs. 5. Excavation is to be done via vacuum truck. 6. Removal of rod gaps and their foundations (see Attachment 1 & 2 attached as a separate documents). F. Work hours may be increased based upon Columbia needs.
