This Contract provides for the improvement of the Port of Benton's railroad main track near and through the SR 240 at-grade railroad crossings located at MP 26.97 and includes; traffic control, replacement of sub-ballast, ballast, track, crossing surface, and adjacent roadway paving, as well as tie replacement, ballasting, track surfacing in the track adjacent to the crossing, and active signal or warning device upgrades at this location. The project shall be completed within 40 working days. Engineer's Estimate is $1,040,000. Bid / Contract Documents will be available beginning September 3rd, 2024. All bidders are encouraged to inspect the locations of proposed work per requirements found in the special provisions.
