Pursuant to this Request for Proposal ("RFP"), the City of Waterbury by and through its Department of Education (collectively, the "City") is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced service providers (the "proposer" or "proposers", depending on context) for the maintenance and repair of certain of its emergency generators. As a critical component of its infrastructure, these generators ensure uninterrupted power supply during emergencies, ensuring the continuity of the City's educational operations. The agreement period for any contract or purchase order resulting from this RFP is anticipated to be five (5) years from contract execution. All questions and communications about this request for Proposal and submission requirements must be directed to the City of Waterbury online website and must be received by 2:00 PM on September 6, 2024. Prospective proposers must limit their contact regarding this RFP to the Purchasing Director or such other person otherwise designated by the Purchasing Director. Responses to questions submitted by the above date or identified at any Information Session to be held in regard to this RFP, along with any changes or amendments to this RFP, will be available via the City of Waterbury online website by September 10, 2024, 2:00 PM.
