A bid security shall be provided with each bid. Bid security shall be in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid for the Work and shall be cash, a certified check or cashier's check drawn to the order of the County of Calaveras or a Bidder's Bond executed by a surety satisfactory to the County of Calaveras on the form provided in the Proposal section of these Contract Documents. As a condition of award, the successful Bidder will be required to submit bonds and evidence of insurance prior to execution of the Agreement by the County.
