Site work for a water / sewer project in Portland, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project includes, but is not limited to, repairing 53 sewer point repairs. See included drawings and specification for further detail. All bids must be made out on the Bid Form bound in the contract documents, and the Bid Form should not be detached from the contract documents. Bids will not be opened from Bidders who have not obtained the Contract Documents from the City. With the bid, each Bidder must deposit security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, subject to the conditions stated in the Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount will be required for the successful Bidder. All bidders shall have the applicable licenses to perform the work as described in the plans and specifications within the State of Tennessee. All workmen, operators and laborers on the project shall be paid not less than the minimum hourly rates as permitted by the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development Standards Division. All Bidders shall comply with the Contractors Licensing Act of 1976 and as amended (TCA Title 62). All bidders shall comply with the Tennessee Contractor' License law Section 62-6-119 (Bid documents - Required disclosure by bidders) when submitting bids. Contract time is 120 consecutive calendar days. The City of Portland reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids and bidding deemed to be in the best interests of City of Portland, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional bids.
