The City of Bowling Green, KY is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the purchase and installation of new flooring at the Bowling Green Police Department, 911 Kentucky Street, Bowling Green, KY 42101. Flooring currently consists of LVT in certain high traffic areas and carpet in other high traffic areas and offices; the City has already replaced flooring in the Community Room, Cadet Office, Evidence Intake, bathrooms, and locker rooms. Contractors shall demo remaining old flooring (high traffic areas and offices) and remove it from the property. Contractors shall also demo existing carpet and cove base and provide new 4 cove base, color to be determined. New carpet shall be Mohawk Group Side Stripe Carpet Tile West Point. Scope of work shall also include moving furniture in each space. Total building square footage is 32,000. A cashier s check or certified check may be substituted for the Bid Bond. The Bid Bond, or substitution security, shall be in the amount of five (5) percent of the total bid cost. a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount no less than one hundred (100) percent of the total bid cost. The City of Bowling Green, Kentucky reserves the right to reject any and all bids received in response to this bid, and to waive any informality in this offering. The award of a contract shall be at the sole discretion of the City of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
